Ca' Dei Conti

Address Castello, 4429 - 30122

The rooms in Ca' dei Conti are full of XVIII century charm, without giving up modern day comforts. Three colors dominate, blue, green and gold: in the shades of the embroidered fabric on the walls, the padded headboards, the bed covers and the soft carpet. The furniture is eighteenth-century Venetian style, with precious oriental rugs and chandeliers in Murano glass, all harmoniously combined with the comforts of a four-star hotel: direct telephone line, a minibar, satellite TV, cable radio, a safety deposit box and adjustable air conditioning. For that extra bit of luxury, our guests can choose to stay in a superior room with a hydro-massage bath or, for a really special vacation, in one of the three splendid suites: the Canaletto, Casanova and Conte. The first two are split level, with a characteristic raised floor overlooking a typical Venetian canal. All three are very spacious, bright and have a hydro-massage bath. A dream vacation in a luxurious building dating back to the XVIII century, just a stroll from St. Mark's Square. Ca' dei Conti offers you that once in a lifetime experience of staying in an age-old Venetian residence, surrounded by precious marble and eighteenth-century furniture. Their coat of arms is recognized in the precious Carrara marble floor in the hall. The hotel was recently renovated and is today equipped with all the most modern comforts, such as an elevator, to offer its guests a most comfortable stay. Every bit of space in Ca' dei Conti is like a jewel waiting to be uncovered: the splendid lounges with Venetian flooring, the hall with two age-old columns with Greek capping and a real well from the 1700's, not to mention the splendid sun terrace where guests can enjoy the summer sun while sipping an aperitif. The staff of the hotel are at your complete disposition to advise you on itineraries and restaurants and to book tickets to concerts or tours of the city on foot or by gondola. The hotel has no restaurant. However, the breakfast room and bar are located on the first floor in a charming saloon with plenty of natural light and beautiful chandeliers dating back to the 18th century. The 2-storey palace, once residence of one of the most famous Venetian families, has been totally renovated, preserving its original architecture. The elegant facade, with its precious quadrifora, is painted light pink with lanterns at both sides of the entrance, which is accessible by a small private bridge. The lobby is large in size with a nice marbled floor. Sofas and armchairs are positioned all around the hall which is adorned by 2 original Greek columns and a well dating back to the 18th century.
