The winery was founded in 1945 by the grandfather Castellani Michele and is today run by the son Sergio and his family. A winery completely family-run with enthusiasm and energy which sees its products distributed locally, nationally and internationally. The highly-prized Amarone della Valpolicella, Recioto, and Valpolicella Ripasso wines offer high quality and grand pleasure.

The Amarone Castellani produced in the cellar has been awarded a higher mark than other winery by guides such as Wine Spectator, which awarded five stars in 2003 with 95 points, and 96 points in 2005. A truly unsurpassable Amarone.

  • Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso doc 'Costamaran' 'I Castei': Corvina Veronese 70%, Rondinella 25%, Molinara 5%. Body: robust, complex, it reminds you of its scents, well-balanced, slightly tannic. It is ideal with all white and red meat, roast, stewed or braised meat.
