Producing wine from 1908, Luigi Vantini's family will be pleased to propose a wine tasting with all its products, welcoming guests in a warm and comfortable atmosphere that recalls of the past. Every guest will receive a warm welcome and through an interesting guided tour of our winery, will discover the technicalities of growing vines and producing the well known Valpolicella wines. During the wine tasting, Luigi Vantini, the owner of the winery, will entertain our guests with anecdotes about winery life and local traditions. Upon request, the wine will be served accompanied by tasting snacks.

Among the wines produced by the Vantini winery you will find the classical Valpolicella wines: Amarone Classico DOC, Recioto della Valpolicella Classico, Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso 'Le Cariole', Valpolicella Classico Superiore 'Monte Cuco'. Besides, Luigi Vantini also proposes 'Capuleti', a fresh sparkling white wine, ideal as aperitif or to accompany fish dishes. Barbara and Catia will welcome our guests and can give any information, in English and in German.

Recommended Wines:

  • Valpolicella Classico: colour ruby red. Grape variety: corvina 75%, rondinella 20%, molinara 5%. Serving temperature: 16°/18° uncork and allow to breathe before serving. To accompany: hors-d'oeuvres, pasta, poultry and salami. Alcohol content: 12% vol.
  • Classico Superiore Ripasso: colour dark ruby red, limpid and clear. Grape variety: corvina 75%, rondinella 20%, molinara 5%. Serving temperature: 18°/20°C uncork and allow to breathe before serving. To accompany: grilled red meats, roasted meats and pasta. Alcohol content: 13,5% vol.
  • Recioto della Valpolicella: colour intense ruby red with violet reflections. Grape variety: corvina 70% - rondinella 25% - molinara 5%. To accompany: deserts, shortbreads, strong cheeses and strawberries. Alcohol content: 13% vol.
  • Amarone della Valpolicella: colour clear limpid burgundy. Grape variety: corvina 75% - corvinone 20% - rondinella 5%. Serving temperature: 20°/22°C, uncork at least 1 hour before serving. To accompany: red meats, seasoned cheeses, game. Alcohol content: 15% vol.
