In the past, Serravalle was one of the most important towns of the Serenissima Republic of Venice. It was a vital defence point in the route connecting the Venetian hinterland with northern European regions and a bustling centre of commerce and industry (including but not limited to wool, swords, bell founding). The Castrum with its wide expanse encircled by walls has always been the nucleus around which the village developed throughout the centuries.

This enchanting bed and breakfast is located inside an old medieval fortress in the northern part of the Province of Treviso in Vittorio Veneto. In this delightful historical setting guests can enjoy an unforgettable holiday in contact with nature, history and art. It offers very elegant bedrooms and suites and a large, beautifully kept garden surrounded by embattled walls.

Very much more than a bed & breakfast, it's rather a charming luxury hotel, and a wonderful alternative to the usual holiday accommodation proposed by countryside hotels: it is a gem of a residence housed in a castle.
Accomodation
The Orange Bedroom features an exquisite canopied bed with a mirror elegantly arranged over the headboard. This bedroom is located in the main Tower of the castle and it offers breathtaking views of the B&B's enchanting garden and the medieval town of Serravalle. The bathroom was recently renovated and features shower/bathtub, hairdryer and weighing scales. The bedroom is also equipped with minibar, safe, TV and internet connection.

The Red Bedroom serves the Orange Bedroom and is used to accommodate a family or for couples with a friend.

The Yellow Bedroom is located in the entrance Tower and has independent access through an external stone stairway. It has a frigo-bar, satellite TV and internet connection. The special feature of the Yellow Bedroom is the large exclusive terrace-solarium equipped with sun beds and open-air table and chairs. It is simply perfect for romantic weekends and holidays (see photo)

The apartament/suite at the garden level is furnished in a contemporary style which mixes modern and antique.
Two large panoramic windows open onto the garden north and south . It has a fully furnished cooking corner. The
bathroom has a large shower with cromotherapy, hairdryer and scales. The apartment is equipped with satellite TV, frigobar and safe.

The Castrum of Serravalle also provides the services of a wellness center, a place where guests can pamper both body and soul with special wellness treatments and fitness options. Relaxing massages, solarium area, refreshing showers and jogging track immersed in the green of the park are only some of the options that this special wellness centre can offer to its guests (on request when booking).
