Hotel Columbus in Caorle is a comfortable, modern 3 star seafront hotel in a very quiet area just a short walk from the old town centre, set in a beautiful pine forest.
The seafront and well-equipped beach and its services make it the ideal place for families.
Children are our special guests and the hotel staff dedicate a lot of attention to them. With its exclusive position, its large spaces and the services it offers, Hotel Columbus is the natural choice of all those looking for a holiday in a welcoming atmosphere, a family hotel perfect even for very young children, plenty of comfort, relaxation and fun.
Hotel Columbus was opened in 1964 and was completely renovated in 2003 to meet the new needs of its clients and guarantee guests the maximum comfort and best possible welcome.
Today the hotel has a new image, centred on a perfect combination of modernity and elegance, with relaxingly-coloured environments and pale, warm-toned furnishings. It has a family management that has for years been synonymous with genuine service, courtesy and kindness. The Columbus has been run by the Moro family since 1993, with management that guarantees top quality services and is rewarded year after year by its loyal clients and satisfied new guests.
The hotel’s 71 rooms are situated on six floors. They are furnished in a sober, modern style, with terraces with small tables and chairs where you can relax and breathe in the sea air. All have air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, a bathroom with hairdryer and, if required, a safe.
There are single and double rooms, together with comfortable communicating family rooms sleeping 7/8 where you can also request cots, changing trays and cots with safety guards for babies.
Special attention is paid to cuisine and to the restaurant, situated in a large internal air-conditioned room on the ground floor with an incredible view of the sea. The restaurant seats 170 and offers table service.
Each day the menu offers a wide selection of meat and fish dishes, a generous buffet for salads, desserts and fruit and a wide selection of regional and national wines. The Hotel Columbus restaurant also offers special menus without gluten, for those with wheat allergies and, for our smallest guests, there are special menus with a wide range of baby food.
The Hotel Columbus beach is a place for fun and meeting people, for entertainment and sport.
The beach service, included in the price, offers hotel guests umbrellas, sunbeds, deckchairs, cabins and showers.
Entertainment for children and adults is also organised on the hotel beach. 150 metres from the hotel is a large floating platform that you can swim to easily. This is 16 metres x 8 metres and is an unmissable attraction for children.
