Description
Our 4 stars hotel, owned and managed by the same family since 1892, is centrally located at the beginning of the pedestrian area. It has a friendly and elegant atmosphere, with his tyrolien antiques, the large fireplace, the cosy bar which offers a wide selection of beers (36 types from all over the world) and teas, the american pool, the library with a large choice of mountain books and guides, the internet communication centre with wireless access in the whole hotel, and the game room in an old "Stube".
In the meeting room, ideal for workshops and small conferences ( up to 50 persons) a large TV screen allows to see live sport events and films in English.
The nice restaurant offers a four course menu with four choices which include every day also a regional and a vegetarian dish and, once a week, a large buffet with tyrolien specialities and a candle light gala dinner.
All rooms are personalized and have private bath, hairdryer, direct phone, TV Sat, radio, safe and minibar;; economy rooms have no view and a few are in the attic and have high windows, standard rooms are not very large and have often a French double bed, but all have a beautiful view and many a balcony. Superior rooms are larger in size and more comfortable. The The elegant suites have a double room and a small sitting room.
The hotel has also a free private parking.
For our baby-guests and their mothers there are cots, small beds, baby listening service, bottle heaters, play rugs, a collection of toys, WC bay adaptor, baby changing diapers pillows, baby skis, etc.
The hotel also offers the following services:
"Happy pet" special pet menus, pet dishes, sleeping rugs and a small gift upon arrival will provide the maximum comfort to your dear pet
"Happy hour" at our bar from 6.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.: 50% discount on most alcoholic drinks.
"Over sixty": a 10% discount will be offered to all our guests proud to be over sixty
"Wellness centre": a small but cosy wellness centre with sauna, turkish bath, solarium, massages and emotional shower is at the disposal of our guest to a moderate fee.
"Organized weeks" ski, snowboard or telemark group lessons for adults and children, cross country ski individual lessons, off piste descents, ski excursions, ice falls climbing, snowshoeing, etc… may be organized à-la-carte.
For reaching the skislopes you can either walk to the Faloria cable car (3/4 minutes) or take the skibus - bus stop in front of the hotel - to the Tofana area (5 min. bus).
You might be interested to know that if you arrive by plane, on Saturdays and Sundays there is a transfer service from and to Cortina from Venice and Treviso airport (Ryan Air) airport to a very moderate fee. (a return ticket: € 25,00)
