Situated in Dosson di Casier, south of Treviso, Villa Contarini Nenzi is an ancient residence dating back from the XVIII century. Recently restored to its own ancient splendour it is a discreet shelter, an elegant private site for both business and pleasure, provided with a beauty farm and a park.

History
In the 17th century, the Venetian ancient and noble Contarini family built their wonderful dwelling surrounded by a nice park. The building was originally composed by the villa, the two Barchesse (the main building wings), the chapel- oratory and the three-storey stables with barn and granary. The palace is located not far from the Terraglio, the historical road which links Treviso to Venice. From that period, the house has belonged to the most influential families of Venice: Guizzetti, Antonini, Della Rovere e Nenzi. During the two world wars, it was seat of several offices of the army and it was also damaged. In fact, at the end of the 60’s, it was restored and partly renewd by the Istituto per l’Infazia di Santa Maria della Pietà, aiming at using it as a boarding school for orphans. The building has a linear and classical plant: the Dominican body is developed on three 3 levels and it’s still linked to the two symmetrical side adjacencies by two low arches. In front of the villa, the wide courtyard creates a great visual impact. inside, there are typical Venetian floors and balconies and a lot of elegant 18th century stucco works.

One of them is ‘mastro’ Mirko, always ready to satisfy all your needs as regards clothes, shirts, etc., also by direct delivery to your hotel room.
Our coffee bar will be at your disposal from 7 a.m. To 24 p.m., in order to offer you a wide selection of cocktails, coffees and delicious confectionery cookies, as well as appetizing sandwiches and fast food.
It is the ideal place for a relaxing break after a working day.
In winter, you will be really delighted to sit in one of our lounges, maybe in front of the fireplace, while in spring and summer you can wander outside among the paths or have a rest on the garden seats of our pleasant park.

Our hotel is provided with 43 rooms, and a suite called “l’Appartamento Del Doge”, composed of three independent rooms and en-suites and multi-functional hall with old stucco on walls and ceiling. Besides being sound-proof and air-conditioned, every room has an original vintage furnishing and it is provided with all the services you may need to satisfy all your necessities:

Every room, also the well-known francesine with their extra-large single mattresses, are big and comfortable They are characterized by a large number of colours and decorations, which mirror the hotel elegant style. In every room there’s a modern marble bathroom with a comfortable and wide shower. Some rooms are provided with hydromassage. Rooms are decorated with noble materials and pastel colours: all of this contributes to the creation of the elegant background for a perfect stay.
In the morning we prepare a lavish buffet with the best local products, like cheese and salami, fresh fruit, yogurt, fragrant croissant and cakes.
