Spectacular! What other term could be so appropriate to descibe Venice? Probably none. But here the word assumes a particular character, applied to the world of the spectator and the cinema, a world with  which Venice is more than familiar, and in more than one guise.
Without doubt Venice is a ‘cinematic’ city: taking just a few steps along its canals tranforms you into thinking you are in a film. But there are certain places in which great films have really been made here, and it to these that we take you on this tour, where you become the principal actor.
The city of Venice is inextricably tied to the world of film: enough to think of the world-famous Lido Film Festival, the first of its kind and of the most well-known, the tradition of cinematic masterpeices filmed here, and the international stars associated with the lagoon city (Woody Allen above all).
Our tour begins with the boarding of our private boat, to embark on our 35mm vision of the city, reliving the emotions of some unforgettable films.
We see some of the hidden angles of the city which have been used in many a blockbuster, such as the church of San Barbara, where “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” was filmed. Indiana finds an importnat clue in this church on his quest for the Holy Grail. The same church was also used as a location for a famous scene in David Lean’s, when  Katherine Hepburn falls into the canal.
We continue our tour by visiting other locations used in such titles as “The Merchant of Venice”, “Casanova”, and many others. After we take a break in either the elegant atmosphere of the Hotel Excelsior, home to many stars throughout the years, or the Caffè Florian, literary haunt of famous figures such as Proust, Byron and Charles Dickens, and immortalized in “The Talented Mister Ripley” with Matt Damon as well as David Lean’s above-mentioned film.
A magical experience which takes you both behind the scenes and also to centre stage.
We return to our starting point by water-taxi.
