Whether you choose to stay on your own or in company, this tour lets you understand and love Venice. A gradual immersion into the everyday life of the city, avoiding the myriad tourists on the search for the aspects which make it unique, it will make you feel less a visitor than one of the locals.
Our professional guide will meet you in Piazzale Roma and take you for an authentic Venetian experience, through narrow alleyways and over canals, absorbing the typical atmosphere of the city.  The secret lies in taking in the city as one of the local inhabitants: seeking out those hidden places, which can even be found concealed among hundreds of others, which represent the real magic of Venice though which many are fortunate enough to see during their stay.
Moving from one area to another, each imbued with its own particular charms, its own people and monuments, some on full view, others hidden in the dense labyrinth of alleys though still possessing their own marvels.
The route moves through the romantic Papadopoli Gardens, situated in one of the oldest areas of the city, to the church of San Nicola da Tolentino, home to precious works of the 17th century, then to Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, with its myriad wonders including Titian’s masterpieces The Assumption and the Madonna of Ca’ Pesaro.
We pass to the State Archives, Campo San Polo and Campo San Bartolomeo with the statue of Carlo Goldini.
After experiencing the magisterial edifice of the Fondaco dei Tedeschi, the Corte del Milion, with the house of Marco Polo, and the Campo San Giovanni e Paolo (with Verrocchio’s  monument of Colleoni), we arrive at Saint Mark’s Square, where we round off the tour with a refreshing drink in a typical bar.
