Schedule and itinerary of the excursion

Our houseboat cruise in Venice and its islands will leave at 10am with boarding at the Island of Sacca Fisola in Venice. Following a leisurely travel along the Giudecca Channel, from where you will be able to admire the Church of Redentore, the enchanting St Mark’s Square and the renowned Bridge of Sighs, our boat tour in Venice will continue into the lagoon, travelling past the St Elena Gardens and the historic Venice Arsenal.

At around 10.45am our day tour in Venice will stop at Murano, the home of glass making. You can then disembark the houseboat opposite the biggest glass making furnace in Murano, where expert masters have been making splendid objects for centuries using the procedures of artistic glass blowing. You will have the opportunity to purchase true and original art works and, on demand, it will be possible to book a room for a private and exclusive viewing of the objects for sale. If glass making does not take your fancy, then not far from the drop off point you will find the Glass Museum housing true masterpieces from the glass making art of Venice.

The cruise will carry on to the tranquil Island of Torcello, with arrival at around 12.15pm. On this green island of the Venice lagoon it will be possible to visit the ancient Torcello Cathedral. Built in 639 and extended in 1008, the Cathedral represents one of the most intimate sides of Venice, a symbol of faith located on an island where nature has a fundamental role. The Cathedral of St Mary Assunta will enchant you from the moment you enter it, when you will be greeted by the image of the Virgin in the central apse surrounded by golden mosaics from the 2nd century A.D.
