The Villa Alessi winery continues the grand wine producing tradition of the Euganean Hills with some of the most characteristic products of the region. In the Cinto Euganeo wine shops you can taste and purchase the wines of Villa Alessi, Ca' Lustra and Zanovello, with the possibility also to sample salumi, cheese, focacce, bruschette and typical sweets. A winetasting at the Villa Alessi, immersed in the nature of the Euganean Hills, is an experience for all the senses, permitting a full appreciation of the taste of both its landscape and history. Its red wine, the typical local serprino, and its types of spumanti such as fior d'arancio are not to be missed.
Situated amid the vineyards, Villa Alessi consists of a great hall leading into two lower levels, home to a restaurant and cellar. The stairway is decorated with a trompe-l'oeil fresco: a dreamy representation of the Faedo valley in ancient times. Descending the stairs one has the impression of entering into the bowels of the earth, where the wine barrels are stored.
This year has seen the addition to the exterior of the villa of a vast shaded terrace, enabling the visitor to enjoy a beautiful view of the Faedo valley, which forms part of the region of Cinto Euganeo.
The Villa Alessi winery also stocks other typical products such as oil, honey, jams and marmelade: all products which the Cinto Euganeo wine shops display with the same pride as its wine.

Colli Euganei Serprino DOC frizzante
This sparkling white wine, with its yellow straw colour, typically smells apple - with some nuances that recall the pear and the peach; it is a fresh and light wine, easy to drink. It matches friskily with omelettes of bruscandoli and carletti.
DEIVO Rosso IGT
Merlot 95%, Marzemino 5%
This red wine is warm and structured, winy and gently fruity; it has a marked ruby red colour, which tends towards the violet.
It is suitable for various occasions.
Colli Euganei Rosso DOC
Merlot 70%, Cabernet Franc 20%, Cabernet Sauvignon 10% This red wine is warm and affable, winy and delicate, full-bodied and round; it has a rather marked ruby red colour, which tends toward a garnet-red during the maturation period.
Colli Euganei Fior d'Arancio Spumante
Fior d'Arancio 100%
Golden and sparkling, this wine gives off a white flower scent and a gentle touch of musk; it recalls the bread crust.

Coming from Venice, Bologna, Rovigo, take the motorway A13, exit Terme Euganee, continue for Battaglia Terme, Galzignano, and from here you will get to Faedo, direction Este.
Coming from Milan and Verona, take the motorway A4, exit Montebello, and continuing in direction of Lonigo, Noventa Vicentina, Lozzo Atestino, Fondanafredda you will finally get to Faedo.

Organized winetasting takes place in the winery and in the cellar, where both classic and Spumanti wines as well as oil which you can sample with the expert assistance of a guide, who explains and highlights the particular characteristics of each product.
On request, with a minimum number of 10 participants, we also organize courses on introductions to wine and oil, conducted by acknowledged experts in the field. This is a service exclusive to the Cinto Euganeo wine shop.
