S. Polo, 1465 - 30125 San Polo (Venice)
Kirikù is a new world to discover where conventions are ignored and freedom and fantasy are given full rein. Stepping in means abandoning clichés, standardization and die-hard habits to open instead a door into creativity.
Here, clothes become a way of expressing personality, a sudden flash of cheerfulness where no strict rules exist.
Opened in 2003, Kirikù was initially serving the younger customers, from new born babies to 16 years.
In 2006, the decision was taken to sell clothes for women, staying clear from maternity apparel or similar, to offer instead true fashion lines.
In 2010 another change, with the decision to address only the female world, both girl and woman.
At Kirikù chic and minimal reigns supreme with a modern mix of 'nonchalance' that freely mixes couture items to break away from the usual clothing propositions.
This characteristic is underlined by the clean, minimal interiors and the furniture.
The original and sophisticated lines offer both Italian and French clothes.
“Our main priority is to be constantly searching for new ideas”, says Cristina Nogara, the owner. “Behind each item there is a process of careful attention paid to the quality of the material, the model, cut and wear”.
Kirikù adores the beauty of imperfect, fragile and unconventional things and shies away from the usual pairings to add a touch of carelessness that makes even the most demanding garment simple and casual.
