Cross-country Skiing

From 16 December 2008 to 15 March 2009

Cross-country skiing in Cortina offers participants a close contact with nature, a taste of the open air among the white paradise, with the possibility of encountering deer and other wildlife which inhabit the territory. The Ski Club Cortina, in collaboration with the Ski Cortina School, have organised a course of cross-country skiing for children of primary and high-schools in Cortina dAmpezzo, San Vito di Cadore, Borca and Vodo. A little willpower and some healthy exertion are all that are needed for an introduction to this increasingly popular sport, which opens up a rich adventure among the snowy beauty of the region. Courses take place at Fiames and run from 9th December until the end of the season two afternoons a week. Course price is 130,00 which includes all equipment hire and the Dolomiti Nordic Skipass which permits holders access to the best slopes not only in Cortina but also in the surrounding area. Times are 2.30 3.30 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays
