2011 Jesolo Air Extreme

From 11 June 2011 to 12 June 2011

The spectacular and emotion-filled Air Extreme display is back on the shores of Jesolo! As every summer, the municipality of Jesolo has organized, in collaboration with Prima Aviation, one of the most incredible shows that the Veneto Region can boast about: on 11 and 12 June this fascinating aerobatics display will take place with the participation this year of both Italian and foreign display teams. You will be able to watch the performances of the Tricolour Arrows, a team always striving to awe the younger ones in the public with coloured smoke trails that can design as suspended in the sly the Italian flag. The Italian aviation champion Francesco Fornabaio will also be there on board a Breitling EXTRA 3000, one of the best single-engine aerobatic aircrafts ever built, purposely designed for aerobatics competitions.

The show will also be attended to by the Thunderbirds, the official military aviation team of the United States of America, whilst from England two legendary Wing Walkers will be present to offer a double stunt on the wings of two vintage planes, the Stearman biplane.

The display takes place over two days, to allow as many people as possible to watch it. It can be seen from along the entire shoreline, but the heart of the show is in Brescia square next to the Casabianca marina. Times are from 3.30pm till 7pm and entrance is free.
