Jesolo Sand Nativity 2012: an amazing Christmas on the beach in Jesolo Lido

The Christmas Jesolo event 2012 is preparing to host another exciting edition of its beautiful Sand Nativity in Jesolo!Now in its 11th edition, the famous Sand Sculpture Festival in Jesolo 2012 will be set in the imposing structure of Marconi Square in Jesolo, from 8 December 2012 to 3 February 2013.

Since its beginning the nativity Sand Sculpting festival in Jesolo draws great sculptors from all over the world with their wonderful creations to make Jesolo Sand Nativity one of the most famous beaches in Italy.

As tradition, every year the Jesolo Sand Festival dedicates a sculpture to a figure who has devoted his or her life to peace, such as Mother Teresa, Mahatma Gandhi, Pope John XXIII and many others to whom beautiful sand sculptures have been dedicated in the various editions of the Christmas sand art nativity in Jesolo. In the sand nativity Jesolo 2012, to celebrate the centenary of the birth of Pope Albino Luciani, the nativity of sand - Sand Nativity in Jesolo dedicates the Peacemaker sculpture to John Paul I.Between scenes of everyday life, shepherds, sheep and bustling markets, the streets of Bethlehem come back to life again in the fascinating Jesolo Sand Sculpture Festival, where 12 international artists will make splendid life size sand sculptures on the theme of the Holy Nativity.

Among the Jesolo events 2012 this Christmas the Jesolo Sand Nativity will play as always a prominent role, given the massive turnout in recent years and the beneficial importance of this charming Christmas Nativity.

The Jesolo sand nativity 2012 is free to enter: if you wish you can leave a donation which will be used in association with humanitarian purposes.
