The Fortress in Bloom

The ninth edition of this event, so-called owing to the beauty of this magnificent medieval town (and the historical symbol of the town the fortress which overlooks it) together with the fragrances and colours of springtime.

This and much more: three days re-evoking its history, with medieval markets, a flower market, a national photographic competition and a national flower arranging competition. All thee events aim at highlighting the beauty of their surroundings: a historical city of many faces, which in addtion to the magnificent fortress with its castle remians which dominates the city from its vantage point on the hills, also contains monuments such as the Loggia, the Civic Tower, the museum of Ca Marcello, the cathedral of Santa Giustina (originating from the 13th century) Villa Duodo and the church of San Giorgio, in devotional circles known as the seventh church.
