Thanks to this unusual tour of the Venetian islands, you will visit some undiscovered corners of Venice: in addition to the famous Murano, Burano and Torcello, the Venetian lagoon welcomes many other islands, each with its own unique charm!
The boats used in this unprecedented Venice islands boat trip boast an ancient history, which dates back to the times of the Venice Republic. The Bragozzo of the Adriatic is a traditional fishing boat, and its flat-bottom enables it to navigate in very low waters. The Bragosso tour was built to a 50s design and decorated in a style that once adorned the traditional boats of Venice. A fishing boat typical of the southern lagoon, the Sampierotta takes its name from a small fishing village on the island of Pellestrina: it is agile, versatile and it can be sailed, rowed, or powered by a motor.
The particular structure of both boats will allow you access the most scenic areas and less touristy parts of the Venice lagoon, reaching even very shallow water. The boat used in the tour varies depending on the number of participants: the Bragozzo can accommodate up to 11 people, and the Sampierotta up to 4 people. Please note that both of them are powered by a motor. For groups of more than 11 people both boats can be used.
