Nordic Walking is synonymous with well-being, a healthy lifestyle and dynamism. The practice of Nordic walking tours have spread around the world and its success comes from its simplicity: it is a quiet walk with poles that brings many benefits, including increased physical stamina, weight loss and toning.
Nordic Walking began in Finland in preparation for summer and autumn for cross-country skiing athletes and it subsequently developed as a proper exercise. It is recommended to everyone and especially for those who suffer from knee problems and back pain, since the use of sticks helps to protect the joints. Nordic walking requires no special effort, however, to carry it out properly you need to pay special attention to make the various movements in the right way, such as the rolling of the foot, the step size and the position of the stick which, to accommodate coordination, should always maintain an angle of approximately 45°.
