Learn to cook Italian food in Italy in the culinary soul of Venice by taking part in one of the tastiest cooking classes in Venice, Italy! You can have cooking lessons in Italy at the famous Osteria 'Ai Assassini Venezia. This Venice cooking course will give you the opportunity to learn to cook Italian cuisine using traditional Venetian recipes, which differ according to the seasonal products available. You will then make your way to the characteristic osteria 'Ai Assassini' for your cooking lessons in Venice. In exceptional cases and/or reasons of force majeure that may prevent the tour already purchased to run regularly (i.e. acts of nature, strikes, exceptional closures, serious unexpected events or health problems experienced by the person in charge with the service after which it is really impossible to find a substitute), the tour might be cancelled.The customer will be notified of this as soon as possible and will be asked to choose between postponing the tour on the first date available or get a prompt refund of the price paid for the tour.

We were hoping for a more hands on class. While cooking in the restaurant was different (and at times awkward, as we are experienced cooks, we were hoping for a more rustic/homemade Venetian cooking class.

we are sorry that the tour did not meet your expectactions! The cooking class takes place in the kitchen of a typical Venetian osteria and offers the opportunity to learnt to cook some traditional Venetian recipes. The atmosphere is less formal and more relaxed than a restaurant and the whole experience aims to combine tradition, flavours and fun… We can assure you that this tour is usually appreciated by our customers, that are usually tourists looking for a not too challenging experience. Maybe, your expectations were too high, considering that you are both experienced cooks and this is not a professional cooking course.Best regards,
