Palafavera is approved for national competitions - Palafavera Fattor Pompey is the only track in the Veneto region to be used for biathlon - and is located at 1550 m in the municipality of Zoldo Alto. It has 5 km and 7.5 km paths suitable for both experienced athletes, families and beginners. In Forno di Zoldo there are the other two tracks to practice cross-country skiing in Val di Zoldo: at 845m altitude, Campo-Forno Zoldo offers a lit path for night skiing; Pralongo-Forno di Zoldo, at an altitude of 975m, is approved for competitions for classical technique.
