The Optician’s Fabbricatore, one of the oldest and most famous optician’s in Venice, was reborn a second time in 1989 when Francesco Lincetto transformed it into one of the most modern and exclusive shops in the city. In 2001 the premises underwent a radical refurbishment, presenting a new look to its clients. Its passion for design, love of fashion and attention to materials have transformed the shop into a prestigious workshop, where, notwithstanding the eyeglasses which still maintain priority, we can find design objects of various types.
The artefacts are designed by Francesco himself and manufactured by specialised artisans: original hangings in silver and gold from Vicenza accompany delicate lamps and elegant vases made of Murano glass.
Bracelets, necklaces and other small accessories made of horn adorn the walls next to the eyeglasses and sunglasses crafted from titanium in extravagant forms. All in all a new way of offering various artefacts linked by the common denominators of elegance, choice of material and attention to detail.
Francesco and Marianna aim to promote glasses as indispensable accessories, unique and original. The glasses on offer are from foreign manufacturers who are represented exclusively in Italy by Fabbricatore, and are designed by specialised stylists and are made of high-quality materials.
