Biagio Antonacci Theatre tour
16 February 2009
The Milanese singer returns after ten years for a tour of leading Italian theatres offering a stripped-down acoustic set, though preserving the passion and intimate atmosphere of his shows. This tour is part of a continuing development of a wide-ranging project showing Antonaccis evolution and soul.
The tour is divided into two parts: the first leg of concerts starts 26 January in Naples, and will take in some of the most important theatres throughout the country, allowing the audience a closer rapport with Antonacci, and giving the singer the opportunity to include songs not present on his last tour, in larger venues. Antonacci will be accompanied by just one musician, the intention being to reach an even greater level of emotion, with songs not heard on stage for many yearsFollowing this theatre tour, the 13 March sees the start of the second leg, this time among the largest arenas in Italy, where the singer can allow his rock energy full flow: Antonacci will be playing all the songs which has made his career one of the most varied and important on the Italian music scene.
