In parallel with the early days of the Venice International Film Festival, Circuito Off in Venice in 2013 returns from 28 to 31 August events in Venice!Since 2000, the Venice Short Film Festival - Circuito Off has been presenting an interesting insight into alternative, contemporary and experimental cinema and has become in a just a few years one of the most anticipated Venice events in August 2013.

Now in its 14th edition, Circuito Off Venezia the International Short Film Festival 2013 will be held at the Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi, the new space of the cultural project of Franois Pinault in Venice exclusively devoted to concerts, screenings and conferences.

Since the Short Film Festival in Venice began it has established itself as one of the most prestigious international Venice August events dedicated to experimental audio-visual creation in the forefront of introducing new trends, styles and languages of emerging young artists.

Much appreciated among the Venice August festivals, the Circuito Off Film Festival every year offers an overview of the continuous evolution of video creation, focusing on new technology and the timeless secrets of the trade to present the various changes of the union between cinema and art.

From edition to edition, Venice International Short Film Festival Circuito Off reinvents its format to present the different identities of an ever new and challenging vast world of short films in Venice.

For the Circuito Off Venice Short Film Festival in 2013, the Venice Short Film Festival will be accompanied by numerous Venice, Italy August events, including:-- Fil Rouge, a fascinating section that proposes three young filmmakers from different countries linked by a great sensitivity to the female world: fantasy, fashion, art, intimacy and poetry are intertwined in three jobs in which women play a leading role;-- Computer Animation to view the Circuito Off Venice international Short Film through the best works of David O'Reilly and Marco Morandi;-- Future past perfect, which brings to the Short Film Venice Film Festival on an overview of a project by Alva Noto, an international artist who has already exhibited at some of the world's most important cultural institutions such as the Tate Modern in London, the Guggenheim in New York and the Biennale Venice.-- Spot of Red, the online competition proposal at Circuito Off Venice to promote blood donation with a video.

The 14th Circuito Off International Short Film Festival in Venice will open on 28 August with two installations of Daniele Puppi - Cinema Revived 3 and Godzilla - the well known Friulian artist famous for combining space and sounds transforming the medium of film into a sensory experience. The Venice Film Festival Short films competition at the August Festival in Venice will be screened during the first three nights of the event; on the evening of 31 August there will be the awards ceremony.
