Conegliano, TrevisoThe Festa dellUva (Wine Festival) celebrates the rites of the grape harvest and allows us to experience the best wines, through the competition Enoconegliano. The festivities begin on Friday with the traditional Harvest supper, during which more than 1000 participants have the chance to sample typical dishes of the Veneto region. The fare is enriched by numerous folk groups and spectacles organised by the students of the Brera academy directed by Professor Daniele Paolin. A weekend of various events follows. The Festa dellUva is also the scene of Vinama, a fixture which allows us to taste the wines. Stands containing wines selected from Enoconegliano will adorn the via XX Settembre, the main historical street of the town. Organised every year with large financial and logistical backing, the Festa dellUva offers thousands of visitors the possibility to encounter the ancient tradition of wine production.
