Fieracavalli Verona 2015
The long-awaited horse show fair returns to Verona
From 05 November 2015 to 08 November 2015
There are great expectations for one of the most famous horse fairs in Italy: Fiera Cavalli Verona from 5 to 8 November at the exhibition grounds of the city of Verona. Exhibitions, sporting events, music and many other events, for four days of fun!
Now in its 117th edition, Fieracavalli in Verona, attracts thousands of visitors throughout Italy and, increasingly, abroad. The international horse festival in Verona is an event that should not be missed; it is also a great showcase for international industry professionals: with 650 exhibitors - coming from 24 different countries - who will have the opportunity to be known, to exhibit and sell their products but also to be together to better understand the concept of the equestrian world abroad.
The International horse show in Verona is arranged over an area of about 95,000 square metres and with more than 158,000 visitors recorded in 2014, the Verona Horse Fair is confirmed, once again, as the most important trade fiera cavalli in Verona in Italy and, in particular, one of the most appreciated at an international level.
The Verona Fiera Cavalli offers a program really varied for this year: sports events dedicated to more than 160 horses, the real protagonists of the event, not forgetting the appointments with music, food and wine and fun events for both young and old.
This extraordinary fiera cavalli program and its novelties always welcome children and has areas dedicated exclusively to them, to play and have fun safely. Hall 1 will be home to the 'Children's Village', an area where children can spend some leisure time, learning about the world of horses and to respect nature. There are many activities such as the 'Social Farm', the 'Baptism of the Saddle', theatre workshops and demonstrations of hippotherapy, initiatives that make the fiera Verona cavalli one of the most popular events in Veneto for families!
The whole of Hall 2 Verona Horse Fair 2015 will host the exhibition of Verona Arabian horse show, one of the oldest and most prestigious races in the world. Characterized by an innate harmony in bearing and form, the Arabian horses at the horse show in Verona, Italy - more than 100 animals - will compete in various competitions, such as the famous European Championship morphology ECAOH and the 3rd Verona Fieracavalli Great Award.
This noble breed is often surrounded by a shimmering atmosphere from the Arabian Nights, where prestige and wealth are the masters: many sheiks invest part of their wealth on their Arabian horses, some for pure passion, others for economic and business reasons.
During the days of Fieracavalli -Verona 2015, you will see wealthy businessmen, royalty, politicians and celebrities, assembled in the VIP stand to watch the races and to have fun with fashion shows, carousels and demonstrations of dressage.
Since its first edition, Verona - Horse Fair devotes a pavilion to Italian Saddle Horse, thanks to the collaboration of MIPAAF - Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
This year will be the Pavilion 3 to host the finals of the three categories: in 'Free Jumping' animals must perform jumping exercises rider-less, while in 'Obedience and Paces' and 'morpho-attitudinal Circuit' young horses must overcome various tests, individually and in a group, in order to obtain a correct evaluation of morphology and obedience.
A must for the Horse Show in Verona, Italy will be the Pavilion 4, a paradise for enthusiasts, practitioners, professionals or those just new to the equestrian world. The Commercial Pavilion will host the most prestigious national and international items for riding: from the latest technological equipment to food for horses, from articles of veterinary products to characteristic country products for stables and riding schools.
The Pavilion 4 of Verona Horse Fair, Italy one of the most anticipated events in Verona in 2015, this year will present an interesting initiative to highlight the natural relationship that for centuries has tied horse to man and land. What could be better than climbing aboard and discover the beauty of each place, with its culture, its traditions and its food and wine?
In the Commercial Pavilion of Verona - Horse Fair 2015 you will find the best hippo-tourism proposals in the country but also in distant lands, such as in Oman, a state of the Arabian Peninsula where horse riding in wonderful areas unknown to mass tourism has become the feather on the cap.
At the Verona horse festival, the horses will be the protagonists at Hall 5, devoted exclusively to sports competitions, which will host the 28th National Pony Championship, the Regions Under-21 Championship and the Youth Project for young talented hurdle riders. Hall 8, instead, will host international competitions like the World Cup, the CSI2 and the Competition for Amateurs.
In the other halls of fieracavalli 2015, scheduled between the best fairs in Veneto, you can find the best equestrian clothing, admire your favourite horses warming and know all the breeds of Italian horses thanks to Italialleva Show, which will host over 400 horses.
In Pavilions 9, 11 and 12 do not miss the Western Show, where the best American riding races followed by fun saloon parties with music, singing and dancing, will plunge you into a sparkling country atmosphere.
In the program of fieracavalli 2015 Verona do not miss the show-jumping Verona competition, reserved for the best horses and riders from all over the world. The Longines FEI World Cup TM 2015/16 is, without doubt, the most anticipated event of 2015 Fieracavalli-Verona: exciting challenges at the highest level and a healthy spirit of competition, will create a unique show, which every year attracts thousands of fans in the stands.
Among the events in Veneto today, Fieracavalli also stands out for the wonderful entertainment that offers its guests: on Saturday 7 and Sunday, November 8 will stage 'Ladies', the Golden Gala directed by Antonio Giarola, which this year will be entirely dedicated to women.
In fact, women are the true stars of these two unmissable evenings in Verona: wild horses, music and dance will make you live an unforgettable experience!
A woman will also be the guest star of the sensational 117th Fieracavalli: the amazon Sylvie Willms, protagonist of the famous Horse Show 'Apassionata' - 5 million spectators a year - will for the first time bring her show to Italy, during which the passion for her work and the love she has for her horses will clearly shine.
But at Fieracavalli the program does not end here! Suspense and adrenaline will be the ingredients of entertainment offered by the first group of female acrobats the world, made up of experienced riders from Italy, France and Ukraine which, together, will perform acrobatics at high speed. Do not miss one of the best events in Verona in 2015!
Welcome guests of the Golden Gala will also be the Lancers of Montebello: the cavalry regiment of the Italian Army, which has in its staff a total of 22 women, will present an original carousel that will thrill young and old alike!
