There are great expectations for one of the most famous horse fairs in Italy: Fiera Cavalli Verona! From 10 to 13 November, at the exhibition grounds of the city of Verona, exhibitions, sporting events, music and many other events, for four days of fun!
Now in its 118th edition, Fieracavalli in Verona attracts thousands of visitors throughout Italy and, increasingly, abroad. The international horse festival in Verona is an event that should not be missed: in fact, it is also a great showcase for international industry professionals that have the opportunity to be known, to exhibit and, sell their products and be together to better understand the concept of the equestrian world in Italy and abroad.
Entertainment, sports and competitions, exhibitions, activities for the whole family and lifestyle... Don't miss Fieracavalli Verona 2016! In addition to many events, the Horse Show Verona 2016 will also give an important role to food and wine. The C and D outdoor areas will offer an interesting journey through the regional specialties of Italy, not to mention the area dedicated to the Street Food Festival, with entertainment and live shows until 11pm , and the 'Cucine a Motori', which will present a selection of the best Italian food trucks.
The International Horse Show in Verona is arranged over an area of about 95,000 square metres and, with more than 158,000 visitors recorded in 2014, is confirmed as the most important trade in Italy and, in particular, one of the most appreciated at an international level. The Verona Fiera Cavalli 2016 offers a program really varied for this year: sports events, appointments with music, food and wine and fun events for both young and old!
Let's have a look at the best pavilions and events at the 118th Verona Horse Festival:
- Hall 1
Rural and equestrian tourism, tourism of smaller areas, wine and food and cycling holidays: welcoming structures, regional agencies dedicated to the promotion and protection of the local environment and local producers will give visitors of the Fiera Verona Cavalli lots of ideas for relaxing stays at holiday farms and riding schools, on top of all the other opportunities to support a sustainable and responsible tourism.
- Hall 4
As always, the large commercial area at Verona Fieracavalli will showcase the best offers for the equestrian world: horse riding equipment, veterinary, technical items, new products, horse food and accessories for riding schools and stables.
- Hall 5
Hall 5 will host the sport competitions included in the Horse Fair dates 2016 in a completely renovated pavilion, with a large seating area. Look forward to four days of non-stop racing with the Pony National Championship and the Fixdesign Jumping CSI2* Show!
- Hall 6
The 12,000 square metres of shopping area make this pavilion one of the most popular ones at the Verona Horse Show. Here you can buy anything you need to go horse riding, ranging from accessories to casual clothing to wear in the countryside… More than 300 stands and shops, great offers and unique products of the Made in Italy brand.
- Hall 9
The area with Iberian, South American, Friesian and Western Morphology horses. Morphology competitions, entertainment and races will take place in the hall dedicated to the associations of breeds from outside Italy: 13000 square feet, two rings and large grandstands to admire Iberian, Friesian, Appaloosa, Paint and Quarter horses.
- Hall 10
At the Verona Horse Show in Italy there will also be a hall dedicated to Italian breeds, presenting over 30 breeds registered in Italian Studbooks and the traditions that shape them.
- Hall 11 and 12
At the Verona Horse Fair in Italy, horses will also be the protagonists of the renowned Westernshow, showcasing American riding races. Country atmosphere and dancing will enliven a rich list of shows!
- In the program of the horse fair Verona 2016 do not miss the jumping Verona competition, reserved for the best horses and riders from all over the world. The Longines FEI World Cup TM is, without doubt, the most anticipated event of the horse fair in Italy: exciting challenges at the highest level and a healthy spirit of competition, will create a unique show, which every year attracts thousands of fans in the stands.
- The A area of the Horse Fair Italy 2016 is back to host the ring which is now a regular event to watch horse performances and riders' skills, and the Family Area, with shows, pony games and other activities for children!
- The final of 'Derby Attacchi Fise' is also greatly awaited, a big new event at the Verona horse festival in Italy in 2016! Given the large amount of challenges, as many as 8, that participants will have to overcome to reach the final, the race will be truly exhilarating.
- 'Sensations' is the name of the amazing evening show at Fieracavalli, on Friday and Saturday in Hall 8. Directed by Antonio Giarola, 'Gala d'Oro' will stage the best from the national and international equestrian world, including the German group 'Excalibur Horse Show', Laurent Jahan and Santi Serra Camps!
