Great start for the Padova events at the Gran Teatro Geox 2013! On 23 February the Gran Teatro Geox Padova pays homage to the great Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi Operas with an extraordinary meeting with the Gran Gal della lirica in Padua.

To celebrate 200 years since the birth of Giuseppe Verdi - Bicentennial will be honoured throughout Italy with many concerts and events throughout 2013 - a big gala evening dedicated entirely to his opera in Padova, Italy, at the prestigious Gran Teatro Geox.

The Gran Gal della Lirica wants to remember the genius of one of the greatest Italian composers of all time bringing on stage the most famous of Giuseppe Verdi operas: from Nabucco to Aida, from Rigoletto to La Traviata, at the Gran Teatro Geox in Padova will alternate the most beautiful arias of the extraordinary music of Giuseppe Verdi.

One of the most fascinating Padua; Italy events, an exciting journey that retraces the most important works of this immortal artist, to be interpreted in the greatest theatres in the world.

For this great encounter between opera and Padova at the Gran Teatro Geox four famous voices - soprano Francesca Patane, tenor Paul Antognetti, mezzo-soprano and baritone Cristina Guarino Alfio Grasso will be performing on stage - accompanied by the Chernivtsi Philharmonic Society Orchestra and Chorus, who are known and appreciated all over the world.
