From 15 to 24 March 2013, 'Haru No Kaze il Giappone a Vicenza' will provide visitors with interesting moments of exchange and encounter with the arts and Japanese traditions, a valuable opportunity to get in touch with the deep sensitivity and inner richness of this ancient land.
Now in its 5th edition, Haru No Kaze Vento di Primavera - Vicenza is an open door to Japan: curiosity, cuisine, traditions and lifestyles very different from ours.Haru No Kaze literally means 'Spring Wind and symbolically indicates the arrival of spring with its wind that carries away the winter giving way to new lives. Spring cherry trees blossom: their flowers, a symbol of Japanese culture, at the same time represent the rebirth and the brevity of life. In this poetic background, the Japanese festival of Haru No Kaze in Vicenza 2013 aims to involve participants from an aesthetic point of view through a real contact with Japan, between culture, art and traditions where strength, elegance and history of this amazing country can be understood.
Capitalizing on the feedback received for the last editions, Haru No Kaze 2013 will provide an opportunity to experience the real Japan: cuisine, lectures, demonstrations, performances, music, traditional Japanese arts, screenings, workshops and more to highlight and enhance the expressive forms and training aspects that form the basis of this extraordinary people.
Among the many events in Vicenza on Japanese culture include painting exhibitions and crafts with works by Italian and Japanese artists, and many laboratories - including typical Japanese food, kimono clothing, origami, ikebana, bonsai, ... - which you can participate in after registration and subject to availability of seats.
