Curated by Enrica Vigan, one of the most fascinating photo exhibitions in Italy 2012: thanks to the photos of over 75 authors, it aims at providing a new perspective on the roots of neo-realism, which should be traced back to the fascist era during which, thanks to the massive use of instruments related to visual communication, the groundwork for this future current expression was laid.

A photographic exhibition at the Centro Internazionale Scavi Scaligeri in Verona to discover one of the most extraordinary artistic seasons of the last century, presenting an interesting comparison between the main forms of expression that characterized the Italian Neorealism: photography, cinema and literature. Through old catalogues of exhibitions, illustrations, film posters and photos of Neorealism, and a background of the most exciting scenes of the most famous film of this famous current, a group exhibition to try to explain the photograph within the context of neo-realist, stressing its role compared with other forms of expression.
