Primavera Prosecco Tournament
From 03 April 2011 to 29 May 2011

One of the best known wines around the world, the Conegliano and Vadobbiadene DOCG Prosecco becomes, in this way, a promoter of sport along an idyllic route in the midst of beautiful vines, lush hillsides and ancient small villages.
The event is opened up by the 63rd Piva-Banca Popolare di Vicenza Trophy, the cycling race which has been taking place since 1946 between the towns of Farra di Soligno and Valdobbiadene. On the finish line at Col San Martino, a hamlet in Farra di Soligo, young international cycling champions will challenge one another and the winner will be added to a roll of honour that includes past winners of the likes of Maurizio Fondriest and Marzio Bruseghin.
On Easter Monday (25th April the traditional Tour of Belvedere will take place, along the hills surrounding Villa di Cordigliano, at the border between the provinces of Treviso and Pordenone. The event is now in its 73rd edition and has acted as the launching pad for famous cyclists such as Gotti, Cauchhioli and Popovich. The most-awaited for event is the final race, the Trophy of the Town of San Vendemiano, this year in its 4th edition, which will decree the overall winner of the Primavera Prosecco Internationals, at the end of a strenuous race that will test the racers on steep ascents amongst the enchanting hills around the city of Conegliano.
