On 17 and 18 January the San Vitus Skialp 24will take place in the beautiful setting of San Vito di Cadore Skialp: excitement and fun for one of the most anticipated Dolomites skiing event in 2014.
Among fairytale scenery and breathtaking descents, the famous 24h San Vito endurance race in the Dolomites of Cadore, Belluno, takes place at over 1000 m altitude on a path of about 6 km. The alpine skiing event in 2014 - San Vito skialp is ready to put your stamina to the test up to your limit!
Thanks to the wonderful views that the peaks of Antelao, Pelmo, Sorapiss and Marmarole give, the 24h San Vito is a major Dolomites event for all lovers of alpine skiing in the Dolomites.
You can join the Ski events in San Vito di Cadore either individually, in the formula 'Ironman' male and female, or in a team - four individuals that alternate on the track for the entire skialp24 hours.
Skialp 24h San Vito di Cadore is considered one of the most exciting extreme mountaineering races in the Dolomites, and it is expected that participants will complete the track as many times as possible while respecting the rules of the race.
The ski events in the Alps 2014 in San Vito will start at 5pm on Friday 17 January. As well as the race in San Vito di Cadore, all kinds of Dolomites events will be taking place: entertainment for adults and children, festivals, food and wine stands. And after the awards ceremony, a big pasta dinner and an all-night party!
The San Vito Skialp24 also offers the opportunity to discover San Vito di Cadore, a charming town in the Dolomites and just a few steps from Cortina d'Ampezzo, an ideal location for summer and winter holidays of tradition typical flavours and nature.
