Homage to Mino RossoIn conjunction with the many events worldwide celebrating the centenary of the birth of Futurism Padua hosts an exhibition dedicated to the sculptor Mino Rossi (1904 -1963 presenting 40 of his works together with documentary material tracing the Futurist movement."Futurist Sculpture 1914 - 1944. Homage to Mino Rosso" takes place at the Galleria Civica Cavour, from 24 Ottober to 31 January, and is the main event in the project Futurist Art / Life. This project consists of a series of Futurist-inspired happenings, such as poetry readings, exhibitions and dynamic actions in the same city which saw Marinetti and the Venetian Futurists base their activities. 28 sculptures and ninety other art works make up the project, dominated by Boccionis dynaimc plasticism, of which Rosso was also a vibrant participant. An evening of Futurist music in November also formed an integral part of the project..
