Summon your friends, parents, children, grandparents and grandchildren to participate in the 41st edition of ‘Su e zo per i ponti’ in Venice, due to be held on 7 April 2019!

'Su e zo per i ponti' ('up and down the bridges') is a walk that involves young and not-so-young, families, schools, groups, sport teams and more, around the streets, squares and bridges of the city, all together during a day devoted to companionship, friendship and solidarity.

Since its first edition, back in 1975, solidarity is at the heart of ‘Su e zo per i ponti’ in Venice. Today it is considered one of the most important events in the annual calendar of Venice! All earnings from this initiative have always been donated to charity: this year the Salesian community at Iauaretê in Amazonas, Brazil will receive the proceeds from the event!

In addition to celebrating the joy of togetherness, this walk is also a way to discover the most fascinating corners of Venice, where the local inhabitants are often barred due to the massive presence of tourists: this original event also aims to promote sustainable tourism to preserve over time the history, art and culture of this magical city and its lagoon. Join us for the Venice solidarity walk Up and Down the Bridges 2019 to discover the true soul of this lagoon island!

What are the Su e zo per i ponti 2019 routes?

The Su e zo per i ponti 2019 program includes two types of routes:
