Andy Warhol 'The world fascinates me' will be entirely dedicated to the work of this great Polish artist, who was the protagonist of a real revolution in the concept of pop art in Italy. The artistic maturation of Andy Warhol took place in the United States in the mid 20th century, during the period of economic boom: through the use of screen printing Andy Warhol made art accessible to the masses, freeing it from the elitist role it had played up to that time.
His provocative work and its wide diffusion - favoured by the increase in consumerism - established Andy Warhol as a genius of contemporary art and a symbol of social equality. The unmistakable style of the inventor of pop art in Italy - which can be viewed in person by visiting one of the most interesting events in Jesolo 2014 - is dedicated to the new American lifestyle of the fifties: through screen printing, Andy Warhol managed for the first time to sell his work even to the average consumer, hitherto 'excluded' from the art market.
'The world fascinates me' by Andy Warhol - already considered one of the most fascinating Andy Warhol exhibits in 2014 - will be an opportunity to get in touch with the extraordinary works of Andy Warhol in Venice and understand their great influence on contemporary art.
