Now in its 47th edition, Vinitaly 2013 in Verona is shaping up as usual as a must-see event for the industry. Vinitaly Italy is a historic event since 1967 that offers excellence on both a national and international level.
Vinitaly fair Verona is the crown jewel as the International Wine and Spirits exhibition is considered one of the best ambassadors of Made in Italy in the world. The Vinitaly festival has a prominent role as a representative of a food system that combines high-quality with tradition and innovation.
It is easy to understand the prestige and the resonance of Vinitaly in Verona as the exhibition covers almost 95 thousand square meters with more than 4 thousand national and international exhibitors. In 2012 Vinitaly received 140 thousand visitors, with 48 thousand of those who attended the Vinitaly fair Verona coming from 110 countries of the world.
The Vinitaly 2013 Verona offers four days of events, meetings, tastings and workshops; meetings between exhibitors and visitors, combined with a rich program of conferences that addresses and deepens the issues related to the vast world of wine, including production, legislation, new technologies, supply and demand in different markets. As usual, the fair of Verona Vinitaly exhibition- April 2013 - will be a valuable opportunity for meetings between buyers of specially selected wine, wineries and exhibitors.

Given the success of last year, also in Verona Vinitaly 2013 dates are from Sunday to Wednesday - instead of from Thursday to Monday, as before - to help restaurateurs, chefs and wine bar owners take advantage of their weekly closing days.
The Vinitaly fair Verona 2013 program also provides for certain special exhibition areas and events:-- Vivit - Vigne Vignaioli Terroir: event that brings together fans, producers and wine merchants from all over the world in Hall 11 of the Vinitaly 2013. Vivit is a type of handcrafted wine that expresses the flavour of the land where it was created by the grower through a deep relationship with the land.-- Trendy Oggi Big Domani: renowned area of Vinitaly in Verona for domestic producers and newcomers. Selected by Luca Maroni on the basis of quality and convenience, the companies represented are the future market players presented to buyers and domestic operators with tastings and explanations.-- Taste Italy by Wine Doctor: tasting event to present to foreign operators and press the excellence of Italian wines with interviews with producers selected amongst the most important wineries featured in 'Taste Italy' by the 'Wine Doctor' Daniele Cernilli.-- Signature restaurant: event created by Veronafiere and enlisted at Vinitaly to offer visitors the dishes of some great chefs. Ambience and service will have the style of a classy restaurant, with specialties that will enhance the characteristics of individual cooks and the richness of the vast culinary landscape of our country and coupled with various dishes, a selection of wines curated by the National Women of Wine. To crown this great event in Verona Vinitaly 2013, talk shows, tastings and pairings to highlight the link between haute cuisine and Italian wine.-- Signature buffet: for those who do not want to waste precious time and have lunch without sacrificing taste and elegance, the fair of Vinitaly 2013 in Verona proposes an exceptional solution with the great chefs association Jeunes Restaurateurs of Europe engaged in the arduous challenge to combine innovation and quality to the style of buffet.
