XIV Culture week: nine days to rediscover the cultural and artistic heritage of Veneto
From 14 April 2012 to 22 April 2012
During the XIV Cultural Week, MiBAC will propose again a rich calendar of appointments, with exhibitions, conferences, extraordinary openings, learning laboratories, guided visits and concerts that will make the Culture week a unique experience to get to know and fully appreciate the cultural heritage of Italy.
MiBAC, through the Culture week, aims at getting people closer to the vast Italian heritage, involving public and private institutions to transmit to citizens the love for our cultural heritage and invite them to visit art places more often. Culture belongs to everybody: join us, this is the slogan chose by the MiBAC to promote Culture week: a greater awareness of cultural heritage is necessary for the civil, social and cultural growth of the nation.
Cultural heritage is a treasure of enormous value and a testimony of Italys fascinating and millenary history. Veneto is one of the most interesting regions from a cultural point of view: five provinces in Veneto represent one of the most interesting collections of cultural and artistic heritage in Italy. In Veneto Culture week will involve all provinces, ready for this occasion to open the doors of the most precious cultural heritage in Veneto. Guided visits, exhibitions, dance shows and theatre, concerts, conferences, learning activities and numerous extraordinary openings will animate the whole of Veneto during the XIV Culture week, some for all of the nine days, others only for a few days.
