3 Unlike other tours, you will have ample time available to visit the three islands with no rush

If you want to visit the main islands of Venice in no rush and maybe you are on vacation on the Veneto coast, our tour of Murano, Burano and Torcello from Punta Sabbioni is just the thing for you! On board a comfortable and modern boat you will sail across the lagoon listening to the interesting explanations of our expert guide to then reach the three main islands of Venice: during the stops you will have all the time you need to discover, independently, the sights of these charming lands, enjoy lunch – below we will give you some real insider tips – walk around and take some souvenir photos.

So, are you ready to spend one day in Murano, Burano and Torcello taking part in one of the most beautiful excursions from Jesolo - Punta Sabbioni? If the answer is yes, here is the program!

Once on board, the boat will take you from Punta Sabbioni to Murano briefly stopping in Venice to board other tour participants. On the way from Venice to the islands, you will enjoy the view and listen to the stories of our expert guide who will introduce you to the history of Venice and the islands you will visit.

Once in MURANO you will have an hour and a half to visit the island, famous throughout the world for the art of glass making. And just to let you learn more about this ancient and fascinating art, you will have the opportunity – if you so wish - to attend a demonstration by a master glassmaker (about 15 minutes). We advise you not to miss this opportunity: the glowing glass that changes shape and color makes for a jaw-dropping sight for adults and children alike, something you must see at least once in your lifetime! In the time at your disposal you can freely choose what to do: you can visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria and Donato, take a walk to the lighthouse or stroll around the streets and artisan shops. The important thing is to stick to the time of the next boarding!

The second stop on our day trip from Jesolo to the Venetian Islands from Punta Sabbioni will be BURANO where you will have about 2 hours for a visit. Thanks to its brightly colored houses, Burano is considered one of the 10 most colorful cities in the world. You will see, it is a truly amazing view!

Surely you will have heard of the famous Buranello lace, one of the most appreciated types of lace in the world, whose origins date as far back as to the end of the 15th century. In fact, there are numerous workshops that produce and sell these splendid fabrics and it is not uncommon to see ladies intent on embroidering it. Burano is a truly special island, where you can sense an almost surreal atmosphere: the colors, the flowered balconies, the fishermen who come and go on their boats, the leaning bell tower ... it's really worth a visit!

At this point you will surely feel somewhat hungry... and how could we blame you! You can freely choose where to have lunch: we, as true insiders, have some advice for you! If you are looking for a prestigious venue and money is no object, you can choose amongst ‘Trattoria al Gatto Nero’, ‘Ristorante Riva Rosa’ or ‘Trattoria da Romano’. If you prefer to eat well while spending a little less, you can choose between ‘L’Osteria ai Pescatori’ and ‘L’Osteria al Museo’. Whatever your choice, we are sure that your expectations will not be disappointed!

In the early afternoon, after the stop in Burano, you will again embark to reach the ISLAND OF TORCELLO, the last destination of our day tour from Jesolo, where you will stop for about an hour. The cradle of the Venetian civilization, Torcello was the most populated island in the Republic of Venice and the trading center of the city: over the centuries it was completely abandoned and today has just over 10 inhabitants. But the calm that you sense and the precious historical and archaeological testimonies, make the Island of Torcello the ideal place to spend a few hours away from the chaotic traffic of Venice.

Among the things to see we recommend the Cathedral of Santa Maria dell'Assunta, the Devil's Bridge shrouded in the mystery of an ancient legend, the Church of Santa Fosca and ‘Attila’s Throne’.

So, what do you think? If you want to spend one day in the Isole di Venezia or are looking for an off-the-beaten-track beach for your summer holidays, this day trip to Murano, Burano and Torcello from Jesolo is just the thing!
