Now in its 22nd edition, ‘Mascheranda’ has become a fixture in the rich calendar of the events of the Venice Carnival. Sunday 23 February, Palazzo Pisani Moretta will be transformed: the evocative choreography, the attention to the smallest details, the music, the excellent food and the internationally renowned artists will make you experience a unique and unforgettable evening!

The ‘Mascheranda’ Grand Ball in Venice has long become a traditional and not-to-be-missed event of the last Sunday of Carnival, before the final day of ‘Shrove Tuesday’. In the splendid frescoed halls on the first floor of Palazzo Pisani Moretta, a splendid building in Venice, thrilling performances by international artists, entertaining shows, a welcome drink, a sumptuous dinner, music and open bar until late at night await you. And remember that, to fully experience the magic of this great party, a period costume is required: if you do not own one, you can rent your Carnival costume at our trusted atelier located in the historic center of Venice. 

But let's take a look at the program of this edition of the ‘Mascheranda Ball’, which will take place in the main hall of Palazzo Pisani Moretta, specially decorated for this occasion. First up there will be a mysterious welcome cocktail, accompanied by an enthralling artistic performance. The guests will then be led upstairs where, in the Guarana Hall and in the large lateral rooms of the building, a sumptuous Gala Dinner will be served on the background of a repertoire of live period music. Between one dinner course and another, there will be live entertainment by the Art Comedians, the sensual Dancers and Casanova who will take you into the magical world of the 'Mascheranda' Venezia Carnival.

After dinner there will be lots of fun in a riot of music, color and fantasy, and the party will continue with the election of the Casanova 2020, the School of Ancient Dances, the Frame of Wonders, the Charm of the Senses, the Mouth of Truth, the corner of the Astrologer, the Living mirror and then the most awaited moment of 'Mascheranda': the Grand Ball of Carnival... find your lady or your knight and let yourself be carried away by the tunes and atmosphere of times gone by, something only a unique location like Palazzo Pisani Moretta can offer!

The evening will continue with an open bar and lots more entertainment, artistic performances and surprises that will make you relive the glories of the Serenissima Republic and will involve guests from all over the world in a night filled with magic, seduction and mystery.
