Do you want to visit the most beautiful islands of Venice and enjoy a nice boat trip in the lagoon without having to independently reach, on foot or by waterbus, the embarkation point at St Mark’s where most of the tours of the Islands of Venice depart from?

Our polite and helpful staff will welcome you at the specified starting point near the railway station and then accompany you on board the boat which, in just 30 minutes, will take you to Riva degli Schiavoni, a few steps from St Mark’s Square, where your Murano, Burano and Torcello tour from Venice will start. Here you will find another boat with a panoramic deck waiting for you, which will allow you to best admire the beauty of the nature and the breathtaking scenery that only Venice’s lagoon can offer.
During the boat trip from one island to the next, an expert local guide will answer all your questions and tell you about the history and characteristics of each island and Venice, but also dwell on interesting legends and anecdotes, which, as you know, abound around Venice and its area.
So, are you ready to take part in this fascinating tour of the Venetian Islands from the train station? If the answer is yes, take a look at the below program!
Once you get off the train or arrive at Piazzale Roma, it will be very easy, thanks to our directions, to find the starting point of the shuttle boat that will take you to St Mark’s! After about half an hour, you will arrive in St Mark’s Bay where, docked at the shore, there will be an elegant boat waiting for you. After boarding it, your unforgettable experience in the waters of the lagoon will begin: the first stop of the Murano, Burano and Torcello day trip from Venice Station will be MURANO, known around the world for the ancient tradition of glass making. The stop will last about an hour and a half and you can decide whether to attend the demonstration of glass blowing by an expert glassmaker in an ancient furnace (about 15 minutes), or have some time at your leisure and dedicate yourself to a quiet walk on the shore up to the lighthouse, or visit the Romanesque Basilica of Santi Maria and Donato or wander around the streets and the small craft shops ... and now it's time to embark again and head to Burano!
Who hasn’t heard of BURANO, famous for its multi-colored houses? Thanks to this tour of the Venice islands from Piazzale Roma you will have two hours to enjoy a little taste of the timeless atmosphere of this small lagoon paradise: you can walk along the streets and past the colorful houses; let yourself be captivated by the charm of the lace makers who, sitting on the doorstep, are carrying on the centuries-old tradition of Murano lace to create true masterpieces; visit the Lace Museum or admire the colorful and quaint 'Casa di Bepi'. Visiting the island, however, will make you very hungry ... so take a little break in one of the small typical restaurants and enjoy a good serving of freshly caught fish!
Feeling refreshed you will be ready to embark for the final destination of our tour of Murano, Burano and Torcello in one day!
TORCELLO, the island where time seems to stand still. Here everything has a different rhythm, dictated by nature and history. The cradle of the entire Venetian civilization, Torcello today has a dozen inhabitants and hosts unique historical and artistic testimonies, veiled by an aura of mystery, popular beliefs and a little mysticism. We recommend visiting the wonderful Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, one of the oldest Venetian-Byzantine architecture left in the lagoon. And if you have some time left (the time available is one hour), climb to the top of the bell tower! The entire lagoon of Venice will open before your eyes ...
Now it's time to head back ... but your experience isn't over yet! Enjoy the journey back comfortably seated on the panoramic deck and while you are resting yourself, you can take in the beauty of our lagoon!
Once back at Riva degli Schiavoni in St Mark’s, you will find another shuttle boat that will conveniently take you back to Santa Lucia train station.
