Why choose this experience?

1 To observe the magnificent fireworks display of the Redentore Festival from a privileged location
2 To enjoy an evening on a boat, in complete relaxation, with a tasty buffet dinner based on Venetian specialities
3 To admire Venice at night, lit up by a truly evocative show

Saturday, July 14th Venice will celebrate one of the most anticipated events of the summer calendar: every year, the Redentore Festival takes place on the third Saturday in July, leaving thousands of spectators gobsmacked thanks to the magnificent fireworks display.

Take part in our boat ride with driver to have the chance to enjoy this event from a privileged location: the colorful fireworks that reflect on the water surface will create an unforgettable view!

If you want to fully enjoy the festival of the Redentore, just like real Venetians, this tour is right for you! The boat used is a 'mototopo', a transport boat that has always been connected to the Venetian lagoon, which will be especially decorated with lights and festoons.

But be warned: if you are looking for a boat party, with music and dancing, this tour is not for you. 'Manuela' - this is the name of the boat - is a traditional boat that can take up to 25 people max: there is no sound system on board and, given its small size, not suitable for dancing. We would also like to point out that, like all the classic Venetian boats, it does not have toilet services, therefore some flexibility is needed.

In short, this experience is perfect for those who want to experience a typical Redentore party with the aim of spending a nice evening sitting on a boat in the company of other people, talking, chatting, laughing and enjoying a light buffet dinner together. With this magical atmosphere all around you, you will wait for the fireworks that, as usual, will start at around 11.30 pm: get ready for lots of excitement!

But let's take a look at the program together: once you reach the meeting point near Piazzale Roma, you will be welcomed by our hostess and you will get to know the boat pilot and your travel companions. At about 5.30 pm you will sail towards San Marco through the Giudecca Canal: once you have passed the ‘Ponte Votivo’, the boat will drop anchor and you will be ready to enjoy your fantastic evening filled with fun and entertainment!

After a while, you are probably going to start feeling a bit peckish ... so what better than an appetizing buffet? The menu includes:

Aperol spritz

Bread ‘pizzette’

Octopus salad with celery

Sardines in ‘saor’

‘Bocconcini’ of corn with ‘baccalà mantecato’ (traditional creamed cod)

Small sandwiches

‘Mezzemaniche del pescatore’ with cherry tomatoes, calamari and prawns

Sliced watermelon

Water and Prosecco

In this atmosphere of celebration and conviviality, the fireworks will not be long in coming: be prepared to stay with your noses turned up for about forty minutes! Yes, this is the average duration of the fireworks show... and you can enjoy it from start to finish! During the show, the whole city will be filled with a thousand colors, taking on a stunning look in all its uniqueness... in short, a rather different Venice, which we are positive will remain forever in your hearts.

At the end of the show, you will calmly resume navigation: the return to the starting point is scheduled for about 2.30 am.

The Redentore Festival, born in the sixteenth century to celebrate the end of a terrible plague that struck the city of Venice, decimating its inhabitants, is one of the most anticipated and popular events of the year... and not only among Venetians! There are thousands of spectators from all over the world who, every year, organize their weekend in Venice so as not to miss this extraordinary event.

Taking part in this boat tour, you can experience the festival of the Redentore as real protagonists and enjoy the fireworks in full comfort: let the flickers of light and the reflections on the water surface delight your eyes, transforming Venice into a great kaleidoscope, giving you endless emotions!

Before proceeding to booking, we would like to remind you that the experience will take place on board a typical Venetian boat, with no toilet facilities. Moreover, being a collective tour, there could be other participants on board with you, up to a maximum of 25 people.

That said, if all this excites you... you just have to book! It 's very simple: just fill in the appropriate form on this page and you're done!
