Before booking, please be advised that it is compulsory to print a paper copy of the voucher issued at the end of the online reservation and bring it with you the day of the tour.
No credit or refunds will be given in the case of a NO SHOW (if you don't show up at the meeting point at the time indicated on your voucher).
The instructor will meet you at the point of departure for 20 minutes. If you have not arrived by that time, the lesson will be considered as cancelled. You are kindly requested to carefully calculate the time needed to reach the starting point, in order to arrive on time and enjoy the entire duration of the lesson booked.
You are kindly requested to keep your mobile phone on during the day that you have booked the rowing lesson in order to allow us to inform you of any last minute changes due to unfavorable weather conditions and/or promptly contact you in case of unforeseen circumstances.
- For cancellations received up to 48 hours prior to the date booked for the rowing lesson, the entire amount will be refunded, with a €37.50 deduction for administrative costs. Beyond this time, or if you fail to show up at the meeting point, you will be charged the total price of the course.
- In the event of cancellation due to unfavourable weather conditions for the navigation, you will be promptly contacted to book the lesson at a different time. If this is not possible, you will be refunded the full amount, after a €7.50 deduction for administrative costs.
- There is no refund in case of NO-SHOW (no attendance at the departure of the tour at the time and meeting point shown in the voucher).
- Groups that have booked more than two boats can send a cancellation request up to 7 days before the service (the refund will be 50% of the amount paid); For cancellations received later than 7 days there is no refund.
In exceptional cases and/or reasons of force majeure that may prevent the tour already purchased to run regularly (i.e. acts of nature, strikes, exceptional closures, serious unexpected events or health problems experienced by the person in charge with the service after which it is really impossible to find a substitute), the tour might be cancelled. The customer will be notified of this as soon as possible and will be asked to choose between postponing the tour on the first date available or receiving a prompt refund of the price paid for the tour, if the cancellation policy of the service itself allows a refund.

The rowing course will take place along the canals of Venice and its magical lagoon to teach you how to use Venice’s typical rowing technique on a traditional flat-bottomed boat, suitable for smooth sailing even on a few inches of water. After getting acquainted with the boat, you will feel fully relaxed - always accompanied by the attentive eye of your instructor – and navigate to the second part of the experience.
The tasting includes a stop-off in two typical Venetian inns, where you will wrap up your row in Venice with tasting of cicchetti (traditional appetizers accompanying aperitif in Venice), and fine regional wines! The so-called Venice cicchetti, now known all over the world, include a wide variety of local specialties, such as cod cream, meat and fish meatballs, Sarde in Saor, but also tasty vegetarian options. If you are suffering from intolerances or allergies, we invite you to mention it at the time of booking so we can arrange an alternative menu.
The flavour of each snack will be enhanced by excellent wines, chosen from a wide range of local vintages: let your instructor advise you, her experience will provide you with valuable suggestions on the most appreciated wines by the locals. If you prefer soft drinks, no problem: just tell the instructor!
Venice is known for its food and wine tradition, based on top quality products, which are on their own right one of the most important tourist attractions of the city.
