In addition to the home cooking classes and cooking courses at a palace kitchen, she organizes walks with tastings in Venice dedicated to the rich Venetian culinary tradition of the best Venice bakeries.
Explore Venice with a plus: among the alleyways of the old town tempting delicacies in the bakeries of Venice for all cake lovers! Thanks to this you will get an overview of the top Venice pastry shops and their most famous traditions, and discover ancient tastes that have their roots back in time in the bakeries in Venice.
The tour is particularly suitable for those who have already visited the most important places and monuments of the city and wish to have a look behind the scenes, combining their love of Venice to the passion for patisseries in Venice, Italy. The tour combines a sweet taste in Venice with a leisurely walk in order not to feel too guilty about the calories accumulated! The itinerary includes six stages, three bakeries, an ice cream parlour and two chocolate shops. The price only includes a chocolate tasting, to be held in a renowned chocolate shop of Venice to the presence of the chef, with a brief explanation of the history of chocolate and some production methods. Any other tastings are at your discretion and must be paid directly on site (about 2 to 5.00 euros per tasting, depending on what you purchase).
The tour is for a maximum of 8 participants to ensure an intimate atmosphere: Monica will be on hand to answer questions, and curiosities. The tour cannot be organized for individual participants: they can only take part in the tour if there are already confirmed bookings that they can be joined to (minimum 2 persons).
The walk will go through the districts of Cannaregio, Dorsoduro and Santa Croce and lasts for about three hours. The meeting point with Monica will be at Piazzale Roma, offering easy access both to those staying in Venice - all the main water buses of the Venetian public transport stop here- and those staying in the neighbouring towns and arriving in Venice during the day.

The voucher at the end of the reservation must be printed (hard copy) and presented at the time of the visit.
There will be no refund in case of NO-SHOW (non-attendance at the start of the tour at the time and the meeting point indicated on the voucher).
Please be at the meeting point at least 10 minutes earlier than the indicated departure time.
The tour is collective, so the presence of other participants who have booked is to be expected.
The price includes a chocolate tasting; other tastings are at your discretion and will be charged on site.
Comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for the season are recommended: the tour is on foot and therefore is not recommended for children under five years and people with mobility problems.
The tour also takes place in case of rain.
In exceptional cases and/or reasons of force majeure that may prevent the tour already purchased to run regularly (i.e. acts of nature, strikes, exceptional closures, serious unexpected events or health problems experienced by the person in charge with the service after which it is really impossible to find a substitute), the tour might be cancelled. The customer will be notified of this as soon as possible and will be asked to choose between postponing the tour on the first date available or receiving a prompt refund of the price paid for the tour, if the cancellation policy of the service itself allows a refund.
