If this should happen, you will be informed as soon as possible and, according to the type of service you booked, you will have the possibility to choose between postponing the service on the first date available or receiving a total refund of the price paid, if the cancellation policy of the service itself allows a refund.

Radicchio di Treviso is a variety of chicory with a distinguishable intense dark red color, a crunchy consistency and a delicately bitter aftertaste. The so-called radicchio tardivo is much more precious than the early variety due to the complexity of the cultivation process. So, if you want to find out more about the Treviso Radicchio IGP and taste it in different dishes accompanied by a good glass of wine... this is just the experience for you!
Let’s first take a look at the program for this half-day private tour. Stefano, an expert sommelier and gastronome, will collect you in Venice or Treviso (based on your preferences, which you can indicate at the time of booking). Once you leave, he will share some interesting facts on the Strada del Radicchio and the cultivation of Treviso Radicchio: you’ll be intrigued by his knowledge of the area and its products and blown away by his passion for sharing it with others.
After a 45-minute car ride you’ll reach a famous family-run farm, specialized in growing and selling tardive Radicchio of Treviso. We think the best way to fully understand the meticulous work behind a mature tuft of Radicchio Trevisano is by visiting the important places for yourself and listening to the explanations given by the farmer himself.
After visiting the farm and – weather permitting – the fields, and having understood how to grow Radicchio di Treviso, next up is the most suggestive part of the tour: a taste of typical radicchio-based products accompanied by a nice glass of wine, sharing a table with farmers and enjoying the heat of a wood burner... doesn’t that sound inviting?
But that's not all: to end the afternoon in style, Stefano will take you to a typical local tavern (an osteria) where you can enjoy mouth-watering ‘cicchetti’ made with typical local products and drink a couple of glasses of good wine.
