Many of you will have thought 'Sivoli ... what a strange name!'... we, as true insiders, want to explain its origin to you! 'Sivoli' is a term coined by the poet Gabriele d'Annunzio, deriving from the dialect word 'sievoli' - in Italian 'mullets' - a type of fish very common in the Venice area and particularly tasty when skillfully cooked. The choice of this name wants to express the tradition and the bond with the surrounding areas as well as the experience and professionalism of chefs and cooks, true food artists.
Want to hear something interesting? The restaurant logo was created using the poet's original calligraphy, derived from his personal letters.
So, are you ready to spend an unforgettable evening with your partner? Friday, February 14, starting at 20.30, the Sivoli Restaurant awaits you in the most romantic city in the world ... just go ahead and book!
