The lessons are the brainchild of a non-profit organization, composed mainly of female rowers, whose aim is to preserve and spread the water tradition of Venice. The association’s main aim is to safeguard 'voga veneta', a typically local style that is employed to steer the boat in an upright and forward facing position. The interest gained over the time, proved by the enthusiastic customer reviews, is a clear sign of the passion of the rowers as well as the will, by tourists and Venetians, to support any initiative aimed at restoring tradition.
